A bit more About Me

My Experience

I have always been passionate about working with children and ensuring they thrive. I have over 12 years of experience with children of all ages from newborns to 16 year olds. My roles have included everything from being their sole carer, a classroom support, and tutor to simply being their friend as they navigate through life. I also have 3 years of experience working with children who are neurodivergent, working closely with children who have been diagnosed with ADHD and those who are on the autism spectrum. Throughout my work, the importance of routines and the stability it offers have always stood out as being an essential guiding factor for children figuring out their place in the world. Which brings us to one of the first routines that are created for a child: a sleep routine. Good quality sleep in early childhood has been positively correlated with a child’s cognitive and social milestones. Therefore sleep has always been an area of interest for me, it has always been a significant part of my care with all the children I have worked with.
